I love this post.
I forgot to give you t...Hey. I love this post.

I forgot to give you this information on your accountability post. Try using myfitnesspal.com. It's a fabulous place to keep track of your food intake and exercise. I know many people who have lost weight using it. Free and easy to use. If you have a smart phone you can zap the labels on things and it will post them for you. I don't so I have to put it in manually. Let me know what you think.Southern Galhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06101132263339427001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469926062490993548.post-22685461250608985292012-07-02T22:13:16.840-06:002012-07-02T22:13:16.840-06:00I've been a mom for 11 1/2 years now and there...I've been a mom for 11 1/2 years now and there are still things that I don't know. I just finished writing about some of them (mostly related to the prospect of actually maybe having all kids in school full-time this year - about having time to actually do the things that I haven't had time to do these past 11 1/2 years that I haven't even realized that I didn't have time for because I was so busy taking care of whichever child was little at that point and needing my attention, etc etc etc) Yes, that was a major run-on sentence, but it was used for dramatic effect.

Just to let you know, I follow and I come over to read every single entry. I try to make it over within 24 hours of an entry, but with these busy days of summer, I haven't been visiting my favorite blogs nearly as much as I'd like to. And even less often have I been commenting. But lookie here, a bit of comment love for you! :)

I tried out some new, healthy recipes this past week (that my kids mostly snubbed, but it was eat or starve, so they made do with it) but I totally forgot to blog about it because I also didn't have time to take a picture of the new menu items. But I think I will put that on my list of blog-worthy posts. I'll just have to make sure to take some pictures of other dishes so that I can make a complete food post out of it.

And the staying up later part, well, let's just say, this is just the beginning. I still stay up later, trying to get the house in order, read a book, watch a DVR'ed show (the DVR is a truly wonderful device, except now I don't ever know what time or channel a show comes on because I just open up the DVR list and if there is something there, then I watch it. If not, there's always Food Network and HGTV) or do a number of other things that I just can't do during the day when I'm attending to the needs of everyone else.

It sounds like you are settling right into motherhood though! Welcome to the ranks! :)Catalinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03121489234392077420noreply@blogger.com
